Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individuals responsible for breaking into a business in Brant County.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment began an investigation of a break and enter and theft from a business on Oak Park Road near Powerline Road in Brant County. It was determined that between 4:40 a.m. and 5:10 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, two individuals gained entry to the business property. It was found there was a dark truck nearby during this time.

The following property was determined to be stolen:

  • 2022 Bobcat MT100 mini track loader
  • 2024 Duratrail 6×12 galvanized steel utility trailer.

The value of the stolen items is over $50,000.00.

Members of the Brant County OPP detachment are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone with relevant information or who may have been in the area at the time of this incident, is urged to contact the police at 1-888-310-1122.
