The Brant County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle fire at an address on Oakland Drive in the Town of Scotland at approximately 1:37 a.m. on Saturday February 24, 2024.

The investigation determined that unknown individual attended the property and intentionally set fire to a vehicle in the driveway causing damage to the vehicle. Witnesses were able to provide a description of the person of interest stating that they were wearing dark pants, and a light-coloured hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.

No injuries were reported. The Brant County OPP is continuing to investigate this incident.
