Impaired driver arrested after traffic complaint

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint regarding a motor vehicle driving on Hartley Avenue at approximately 7:26 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Police located the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop on Hartley Avenue. Following an investigation, police arrested Damian STRUB a 25-year-old male of Waterloo, and charged him with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Assault a Peace Officer X 2
  • Mischief X 2

Windsor man facing Stunt Driving charges

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 west near Bishopsgate Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 168 km/h in a posted 110 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old male driver from Windsor has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 168 km/h in a 110 km/h posted speed zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.

Brant resident facing charges after domestic-related incident

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a domestic-related incident in Paris.

On October 31, 2025, at approximately 11:52 am., Brant County OPP responded to a report of criminal harassment at a residence in the town of Paris.

Investigation determined that a male individual was in breach of a No Contact order. The involved parties are known to one another.

 As a result of the investigation, one individual from Brant County was charged with:

•          Criminal Harassment X 2,

•          Disobey Court Order X 3

The accused was held for bail court.

OPP charge Dundas man with Speeding and Stunt Driving

On October 31, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Pauline Johnson Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 128 km/h in a posted 60 km/h speed zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old male driver from Dundas has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 128 km/h in a 60 km/h posted speed zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
