Brant County OPP charge two people with Stunt Driving

Brant OPPBrant County OPP charge two people with Stunt Driving

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 west east of Jerseyville Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 12:43 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 175 km/h in a posted 110 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old driver from Paris has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 175 km/h in a 80 km/h Zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.

In another incident, a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 24 south of Blue Lake Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 12:52 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 153 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old driver from Nepean has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 153 km/h in a 80 km/h Zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
