Brant OPPBrant County OPP charge Brantford resident with Theft

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment responded to a theft report from a Beverly Street West business in the County of Brant on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Employees contacted police and provided information on a theft suspect who removed a quantity of merchandise without paying.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, as a result of the investigation, police charged Cheyanne KOCIELSKI, 36 years-old from the City of Brantford with the following offences:

·      Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting

·      Resist Peace Officer

·      Assault a Peace Officer

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford on December 19, 2024.
