Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have arrested one person in connection with a November 2022 robbery at a pharmacy in the north end of Paris.

On Wednesday November 9, 2022, members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at a business on Grand River Street North where a suspect attended a pharmacy and demanded narcotics while brandishing what appeared to be a firearm.

As a result of the investigation, 25-year-old Joshua Andres SOTOMAYOR has been charged with the following offences:

·        Accessory After the Fact to Commit Indictable Offence and

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine.

The accused was held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford.
