Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Thursday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 553 total active cases with 103 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 43 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 6,805 total confirmed cases, 6,214 total resolved cases and 38 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 9,909 new cases on Thursday. There are currently 3,630 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 500 are in intensive care units (ICU).
