Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Thursday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 983 total active cases with 116 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 11 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 6,200 total confirmed cases, 5,183 total resolved cases and 34 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 13,339 new cases on Thursday. There are currently 2,279 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 319 are in intensive care units (ICU).
