Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Currently, there are 103 total active cases with 10 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 12 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 10,032 total confirmed cases, 9,860 total resolved cases and 69 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,692 new cases on Wednesday. Currently, there are 1,248 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 163 are in intensive care units (ICU).
