Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Currently, there are 131 total active cases with 14 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and seven people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,940 total confirmed cases, 9,741 total resolved cases and 68 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,089 new cases on Tuesday, May 10. Currently, there are 1,555 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 188 are in intensive care units (ICU).
