Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Wednesday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 113 total active cases with 17 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 2 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,387 total confirmed cases, 8,209 total resolved cases and 65 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,959 new cases on Wednesday. There are currently 847 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 273 are in intensive care units (ICU).
