Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 404 total active cases with 50 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 56 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,595 total confirmed cases, 7,147 total resolved cases and 44 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 5,368 new cases on Wednesday. There are currently 4,016 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 608 are in intensive care units (ICU).
