Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 115 total active cases with 13 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 7 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,276 total confirmed cases, 8,097 total resolved cases and 64 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,425 new cases on Wednesday. There are currently 1,106 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 319 are in intensive care units (ICU).
