Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Wednesday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 298 total active cases with 48 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 29 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,892 total confirmed cases, 7,543 total resolved cases and 51 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 3,909 new cases on Wednesday. There are currently 2,939 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 555 are in intensive care units (ICU).
