Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Currently, there are 204 total active cases with 27 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 19 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,682 total confirmed cases, 9,411 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 3,005 new cases on Wednesday. Currently, there are 1,734 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 211 are in intensive care units (ICU).
