Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 512 total active cases with 62 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 48 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,188 total confirmed cases, 6,638 total resolved cases and 38 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 7,086 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 4,183 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 580 are in intensive care units (ICU).
