Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 222 total active cases with 11 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 19 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,042 total confirmed cases, 7,765 total resolved cases and 55 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,092 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 2,254 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 474 are in intensive care units (ICU).
