Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 282 total active cases with 41 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 30 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,846 total confirmed cases, 7,513 total resolved cases and 51 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,622 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 3,091 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 568 are in intensive care units (ICU).
