Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its weekly COVID-19 update on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Currently, there are 55 active cases with 41 new cases being reported in the last seven days. Currently, there are 14 people hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 13,996 total confirmed cases, 13,791 total resolved cases and 150 deaths, which is an increase of two deaths over the last week.
