Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Thursday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 396 total active cases with 45 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 59 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,639 total confirmed cases, 7,197 total resolved cases and 46 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 5,852 new cases on Thursday. There are currently 3,645 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 599 are in intensive care units (ICU).
