Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 489 total active cases with 98 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 43 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,334 total confirmed cases, 6,805 total resolved cases and 40 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 7,757 new cases on Thursday. There are currently 4,061 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 594 are in intensive care units (ICU).
