Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 116 total active cases with 11 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 7 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,278 total confirmed cases, 8,107 total resolved cases and 64 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,404 new cases on Thursday. There are currently 1,066 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 302 are in intensive care units (ICU).
