Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 71 total active cases with 24 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and four people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,433 total confirmed cases, 8,243 total resolved cases and 66 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,074 new cases on Monday. There are currently 693 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 249 are in intensive care units (ICU).
