Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 274 total active cases with 126 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and 36 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 4,805 total confirmed cases, 7,480 total resolved cases and 51 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 3,043 new cases on Monday. There are currently 2,983 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 583 are in intensive care units (ICU).
