Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 226 total active cases with 70 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and 19 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,033 total confirmed cases, 7,752 total resolved cases and 55 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,088 new cases on Monday. There are currently 2,155 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 486 are in intensive care units (ICU).
