Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 176 total active cases with 93 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and six people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,938 total confirmed cases, 8,695 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,248 new cases on Monday. There are currently 857 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 168 are in intensive care units (ICU).
