Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, May 20, 2022.
Currently, there are 99 total active cases with 11 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and ten people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 10,051 total confirmed cases, 9,883 total resolved cases and 69 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,412 new cases on Friday. Currently, there are 1,165 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 163 are in intensive care units (ICU).
