Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, May 13, 2022.
Currently, there are 131 total active cases with 16 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and ten people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,972 total confirmed cases, 9,772 total resolved cases and 69 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,760 new cases on Thursday, May 12. Currently, there are 1,451 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 175 are in intensive care units (ICU).
