Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 320 total active cases with 50 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 45 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,683 total confirmed cases, 7,312 total resolved cases and 51 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 5,337 new cases on Friday. There are currently 3,535 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 607 are in intensive care units (ICU).
