Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 511 total active cases with 47 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 44 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,379 total confirmed cases, 6,828 total resolved cases and 40 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 7,165 new cases on Friday. There are currently 4,114 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 590 are in intensive care units (ICU).
