Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 559 total active cases with 95 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 40 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 6,898 total confirmed cases, 6,301 total resolved cases and 38 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 10,964 new cases on Friday. There are currently 3,814 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 527 are in intensive care units (ICU).
