Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 278 total active cases with 41 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 27 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,964 total confirmed cases, 7,631 total resolved cases and 55 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 4,047 new cases on Friday. There are currently 2,634 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 517 are in intensive care units (ICU).
