Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, April 29, 2022.
Currently, there are 192 total active cases with 18 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 16 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,731 total confirmed cases, 9,472 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 2,760 new cases on Friday. Currently, there are 1,679 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 209 are in intensive care units (ICU).
