Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 155 total active cases with 30 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and four people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,846 total confirmed cases, 8,624 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 3,519 new cases on Friday. There are currently 804 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 167 are in intensive care units (ICU).
