Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 116 total active cases with 16 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and three people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,662 total confirmed cases, 8,480 total resolved cases and 66 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,447 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 639 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 179 are in intensive care units (ICU).
