Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, December 24 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 227 total active cases with 85 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and eight hospitalizations.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 4,755 total confirmed cases, 4,496 total resolved cases and 32 deaths.
The province of Ontario reported a record-breaking 9,571 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
