Brant-Brantford Paramedics Encourage the Community to Donate at Upcoming Toy Drives

City of BrantfordBrant-Brantford Paramedics Encourage the Community to Donate at Upcoming Toy Drives

The Brant-Brantford Paramedics are encouraging County of Brant and City of Brantford residents to brighten a child’s holiday this year.

“The outpouring of generosity is second to none in our communities,” said Paramedic Chief Russell King of the Brant-Brantford Paramedics. “Each year, we are overwhelmed by the communities’ desire to help and lift each other up. We are honoured to be part of two incredible toy drives that we know will put smiles on many little faces this holiday season.”

 911 Winter Wonderland Holiday!

On November 27, 2021 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, join us for the 911 Winter Wonderland Holiday Toy Drive located outside at the Cainsville Community Centre, 14 Garnet Road, Cainsville. The Brant-Brantford Paramedic Service in collaboration with the Salvation Army of Brantford and Paris, County of Brant Fire Department and the Brantford Police Service will host the toy drive. Bring a new, unwrapped gift and enjoy taking photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves, sample a few treats and view the decorated emergency vehicles. Please note, this is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather and bring a mask to wear when physical distancing is difficult.

Stuff-A-Truck Toy Drive!

On December 4, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, come help stuff an ambulance with toys at the annual Giant Tiger Toy Drive located at 82 King George Road, Brantford. Either purchase a toy from Giant Tiger or bring a new, unwrapped toy to help stuff the ambulance. This toy drive is in support of the Salvation Army.

“We are very grateful for the support during this very challenging time for so many families,” said William Ratelband, Community and Family Services Coordinator, Ontario Division, The Salvation Army Brantford and Paris.
