Local NewsBrant-Brantford Crime Stoppers launches Stop Fentanyl campaign

Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers has launched an urgent new campaign titled “Stop Fentanyl. Save Lives.”, running from June 1 to July 31, 2025, in response to the devastating impact fentanyl continues to have on our communities.

Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards from $500 to $1,000 for anonymous tips that lead to:

  • The arrest of fentanyl traffickers in Brantford, the County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River — eligible for a $1,000 reward
  • The significant seizure of fentanyl within the region — eligible for rewards ranging from $500 to $1,000

“This drug is killing members of our community and tearing families apart. We can’t afford to stay silent,” says Kenneth Johnston, Chair of Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers, “If you know something, report it to Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers.”

Crime Stoppers guarantees 100% anonymity. Tipsters are never asked to provide their name, phone number, or address, and will never be called to testify in court.

Say it here. Make it stop.

Submit a tip at www.crimestoppersbb.com or call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Together, we can help stop fentanyl and save lives.
