Township of Blandford-Blenheim Council honoured the team members of the U13 Plattsville Rage Hockey Team with Plattsville and District Minor Hockey Association (PDMHA) on April 16, 2025.

Township of Blandford-Blenheim Council proudly recognized the sixteen players of the U13 Plattsville Rage for their participation in the Good Deeds Cup. Mayor Mark Peterson presented each team member with a certificate as well as deemed one special player the Mayor of the Day.

According to PDMHA, the Good Deeds Cup was created to focus on giving back and engaging with the community. The focus of giving is prominent throughout hockey, at all levels, and PDMHA strives to advocate for this with their participants. 

Through the recognition of the U13 Plattsville Rage Team, Council was able to shine a spotlight on PDMHA hockey helping foster and develop key life skills including teamwork, collaboration, discipline respect, communication, and humility. 

Township of Blandford-Blenheim Council would like to express heartfelt thanks for PDMHA and the U13 Plattsville Rage Team for their commitment to the well-being of our community.
