The Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an armed man on “outstanding warrants.”

Ronald James Clause, 53, of Haldimand County is currently wanted for the following offences:

· Kidnapping while using a firearm
· Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
· Unauthorized possession of a firearm
· Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order.

Clause is described as an Indigenous man, about five-foot-eight, 230 lbs., muscular build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Officers say he is known to frequent Hagersville and Mississauags of the Credit First Nations.

Investigators ask anyone that observes this person to call police immediately and to not approach or attempt to interact with him as he is known to be armed and can be violent.
