Representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 90, presented a donation of $6,500 to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation on behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Command on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
The donation will purchase a Continuous Ambulatory Delivery Device (CADD) pain pump, which will benefit the palliative care and medical units at the Brantford General site and is programmed by a member of the healthcare team to deliver a safe amount of medication to help control and relieve pain over a set period of time. This critical equipment will assist in keeping patients comfortable.
