Officers with the Brant County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Maple Grove Road at approximately 6:13 p.m. on Monday April 10, 2023.

A citizen reported to police after observing driving behaviour that caused them concern. Police located the involved vehicle where one person was arrested and transported to Norfolk County detachment for testing.

A 64-year-old from Brant County is facing an impaired driving charge after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members responded to a traffic complaint in the County of Brant over the long weekend.

Police have charged Bernard GALLANT, from Brant County with the following offence:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

 The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
