Edward Thompson of Brantford won $50,000 after capturing an ONTARIO 49 secondary prize worth $50,000 in the November 23, 2022 draw.

Thompson, 65, said he plays the lottery every Wednesday and Saturday.

“I usually play LOTTO 6/49, but I was told to try ONTARIO 49, then won through a Free Play!”

He checked his ticket using the OLG App and was very surprised.

“I looked at it a few times to make sure. I told my wife, children and a few co-workers about the win and they congratulated me,” he said

Edward has no immediate plans for winnings.

“I’ll invest.”
