Driver charged with Impaired Driving after single vehicle collision

Brant OPPDriver charged with Impaired Driving after single vehicle collision

A 29-year-old from Cambridge is facing impaired charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment members investigated a single-vehicle collision over the weekend.

On Sunday July 10, 2022, Brant County OPP responded to a reported collision on Blue Lake Road in the County of Brant where a single vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch. There were no reported injuries to any of the occupants. One person was arrested and transported to Brant County detachment for testing.

Police have charged 29-year-old Alexander TINDALL, from the City of Cambridge with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
