Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
Currently, there are 27 total active cases with four new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and no people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 10,152 total confirmed cases, 10,054 total resolved cases and 71 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 537 new cases on Tuesday, June 7. As of Tuesday, there are 526 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 114 are in intensive care units (ICU).
