Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, May 27, 2022.
Currently, there are 57 total active cases with seven new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and nine people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 10,096 total confirmed cases, 9,967 total resolved cases and 70 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,217 new cases on Thursday. As of Thursday, there are 1,005 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 154 are in intensive care units (ICU).
