Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual in connection with an altercation that occurred following a dispute in the County of Brant.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a commercial address at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Investigation determined that a verbal dispute between two individuals escalated into a physical altercation. Police learned that the individuals are known to each other through their workplace.

As a result of the investigation, a 54-year-old from Woodstock was charged with a Criminal Code charge of Assault.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on December 31, 2026.
