Brantford Bulldogs President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Spencer Hyman today announced the acquisition of forward Carson Andrew from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in exchange for LDN 4th ’28 & BAR 14th ’29.
Andrew, of St. Louis, MO, grew up in the St. Louis Blues AAA program playing with current Bulldogs defenseman George Komadoski before moving to Minnesota to play for the legendary Shattuck St. Mary’s program for his 14U & 15U seasons. Andrew was outstanding for the Sabres finishing 5th on his 14U side in 2022-23, striking for 32 goals & 51 assists for 83 points in 56 games. Taking on a heavier leadership role in his 15U season, Andrew finished 3rd on the Sabres in his OHL Draft season and responded with 28 goals & 38 assists for 66 points in 56 games. Andrew’s work at Shattuck led him to being selected by the Greyhounds in the 4th round, 78th overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection Draft. An imposing right shot, Andrew stands 6’3”/196lbs and utilized that size to make the OHL as a full-time player at 16-years old in the 2024-25 season with the Hounds. Playing in all 68 games, Andrew collected 7 goals & 12 assists for 19 points adding another goal and assist in 5 playoff games. The 2025-26 season saw Andrew work in a checking and penalty kill roll and respond with 7 goals & 7 assists for 14 points in 50 games while skating to a plus 2 rating, again adding another goal and assist in 10 playoff games. Andrew brings valuable OHL experience to the Bulldogs with 122 regular season and 15 playoff games to his resume in his two-plus seasons with the Greyhounds.
