Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in the County of Brant.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at approximately 1:20 p.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an incident involving two individuals that had occurred at a residence in the Town of Paris.
As a result of the investigation, a 61-year-old individual from the County of Brant was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with, Assault – Spousal.
The accused was released on an adult undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on August 20, 2026.
