Brant OPPOPP charge Brantford man with Impaired Driving

A driver is facing Impaired Driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on Colborne Street East between Brant County Road 18 and Papple Road in the County of Brant at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

As a result of the traffic stop and subsequent investigation, police arrested and charged a 19-year-old driver, Liam WELCH from Brantford, with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80.

Upon completion of all court documents, the accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on June 19, 2026.
